About Us

Late Kunveji Patel founded KBMD Limited in 1996. Up until his unfortunate passing in Mid – 2024, he was responsible for the overall development and implementation of new strategies for the firm. He had more than three decades of experience within the accounting profession and used this experience to help his clients grow their businesses. His charismatic personality and ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds enabled him to form friendships and strong relationships with many of his clients. He was involved in leadership community roles for many years and his service to others will not be forgotten. He remains an inspiration to us all and we move forward with him in our hearts.

Bhavesh is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), he has BSc from Kings College London. He joined KBMD in 2007, previously working for another accountancy practice.
Bhavesh’s expertise lies in specialised industries such as construction, property investment, retail outlets, mechanics, travel agencies and other industry areas.

As a chartered Tax Advisor, he has a wealth of experience dealing with tax enquiries (in house and for other firms). His approach to enquiries has resulted in the closure of cases with HMRC amicably. Bhavesh’s work ranges from VAT specific, voluntary disclosures, employment benefit cases, income tax declarations, capital gains tax and larger corporate tax specific enquiries. He also helps clients to grow with efficient tax planning. He has been involved in tax planning across a variety of clients, including property portfolios and medium sized groups of companies.

Bhavesh loves meeting with clients and hosting corporate events. He ensures that he listens to clients to ensure that they receive the best possible service.

Neelam is a fellow of ACCA, having completed her qualification whilst at EY in London. Prior to that she obtained a BA at the University of Alberta, Canada.

Neelam joined KBMD in 2009 from Sky where she was a treasury controller, helping the company manage and account for their debt portfolio. She joined Sky from EY where she audited companies in the Technology, Communications and Entertainment sectors.

Neelam’s expertise lies in advising clients in the health and care sector, including GPs, Pharmacists, and Care providers. She is keen to help clients achieve their goals by working closely with them to advise and support their businesses. She is eager to really listen to what a client wants from KBMD and to deliver. She feels that it is important to be able to communicate accounting information to clients in a way that they can understand and use to help grow their businesses.

Chirag graduated from London South Bank University, obtaining a degree in Accounting and Finance. He joined KBMD in 2017. He is an ACCA finalist.

He is involved in the preparation of Vat returns, accounts and tax returns. Chirag specialises in clients in the construction, hospitality and e-commerce industries, with a keen interest in Vat.

Chirag is a keen cricket player and often spends his weekend on the cricket pitch.

Nita joined KBMD in 2019, having previously worked in the residential nursing and construction industries as a assistant accountant. She has previously worked in an accountancy practice in Kenya.

She is involved in the preparing vat returns, accounts, tax returns and monthly management accounts for our larger clients. Her specialisms include food wholesalers, retailers, convenience stores, petrol stations, the care sector and financial services providers.

Padmini joined KBMD in 2010 with an IT degree and experience in software programming, Insurance and Investments with a view to a career change.

She has 10+ years’ experience in a practice setting. She is involved in the preparation of vat returns, accounts for limited companies and sole traders, self-assessment tax returns, and company tax returns. Her specialist industries include e-commerce, charities, convenience stores, construction and restaurants.

She is highly conversant in a diverse range of accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), and has helped many of our clients set up their internal bookkeeping function.

Ramesh joined KBMD in 2000. With over 20 years’ experience, he is well placed to provide excellent services to our valued clients. He is the payroll manager, handling all aspects of payroll for our clients.

Ramesh is also experienced in the preparation of self-employed accounts, personal tax returns and rental accounts. He also manages our clients’ statutory work, including company formations. He has the knowledge and expertise to provide a high level of service to our valued clients.

Rashmi joined KBMD in 2016, having previously worked in a customer facing role.

She is involved in the preparing of Vat returns, accounts and tax return. She also oversees the internal book-keeping function of some of our larger clients. Her specialist industries include the motor vehicle trade, franchises and hotels and hospitality.

Kajal joined KBMD In 2024, after a long successful career in Kenya.

She handles the practice management and administration of the practice, including on boarding new clients.
